Convert CSV rows to calendar events
Have a spreadsheet of dates, deadlines, or fixtures? Paste the CSV rows or upload the file and get a standard .ics calendar file — one event per row, editable before export.
From spreadsheet to calendar in one pass
Schedules often start life as spreadsheets: a column of dates, a column of events, maybe times and locations. Re-typing that into a calendar is pure waste. CSV to ICS reads the columns and maps them to event fields automatically.
Date, title, start time, end time, and location columns are recognized even when headers vary — 'Date', 'Day', 'When' all work. The editor shows the mapping result so you can correct any misread column.
Works with Excel and Google Sheets
Export your sheet as CSV (File → Download → Comma Separated Values, or Save As → CSV) and upload it here. The .ics you get back imports into every major calendar app.
If the CSV is large, paste only the rows you need — the converter handles pasted CSV text exactly like an uploaded file.
Recurring rows are supported
If your CSV describes a repeating pattern — 'every Monday until Dec 15' in a notes column, for example — set the recurrence in the editor after extraction. Weekly, biweekly, daily, and monthly rules are one dropdown away.
FAQ
- How do I convert CSV to ICS?
- Export your spreadsheet as CSV, upload it (or paste the rows), review the events in the editor, and download the .ics file. Import it into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.
- What columns does the CSV need?
- At minimum, a date column and a title/description column. Time, end time, and location columns are picked up automatically if present. Headers can vary — the AI infers which column is which.
- Can I convert Excel to calendar format?
- Yes. Save or export the Excel file as CSV first (File → Save As → CSV), then convert that here. Direct .xlsx upload is on the roadmap.
- Is CSV to ICS free?
- The first conversion is free with no account. After that, credits start at $4 for 50 conversions and never expire.
